The Green State

I don't believe in the red state or the blue state.

This blog is run by an american who lives in scotland.

this blog loves: choice, atheism, universal healthcare, the american green party, the scottish national party, and puppies.

this blog dislikes: free market libertarianism, anti-choice propaganda, religion, and people who ask annoying questions for no apparent reason

Questions, comments, concerns? greenstate.tumblr.com/ask

I offered a plan, which is very different than President Obama, who offered no plan. My plan was to tell the markets, “there is no problem with default; we will not default.”

Republican presidential candidate MICHELE BACHMANN, on CBS Face The Nation.

That sounds like a great fucking plan, Michele.

dear sarah palin:

get some new catch phrases. ‘business as usual’ is so 2008.

love,

2010

This now seems “the Washington way” of doing things. If the party in power tells us they have to pass bills in order to find out what’s actually in them, they can also criticize bills (and divide the country with ensuing rhetoric) without actually reading them.

—sarah palin, the least literate ‘political figure’ and the loins that birthed the death panel rumor, is very upset that people have said they did not read the arizona immigration bill.
